Earning4Learning Terms and Conditions of the 2008-2009 Program
Entry into this promotion is deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- The promotion commences on Saturday, August 9, 2008 and concludes on Thursday, April 1, 2009. Receipts must be dated during this time period.
- This promotion is open to all elementary schools in the city of Alameda, California.
- Elementary schools are responsible for appointing a coordinator to tally points for their school.
- For a sales receipt to be eligible it must contain the name of the Alameda Towne Centre retailer and the amount purchased.
- No duplicates or credit card receipts will be eligible
- Alameda Towne Centre and its retailer’s employees are not permitted to enter receipts in this promotion from the store at which they are employed.
- No Alameda Towne Centre retailer may designate and collect receipts on behalf of the school.
- Participating schools cannot have any persons soliciting customers as they come out of the stores in order to collect receipts.
- Any points accumulated through the actions detailed in clause 5 to 8 above may result in any or all of the following (at the sole election of Alameda Towne Centre): The refusal to accept registration of those points in this promotion, cancellation of the relevant accumulated points by Alameda Towne Centre, the disqualification of the shopper from this promotion and/or the disqualification of the relevant school for which they are redeeming points from this promotion.
- At the end of the promotion, each of the schools are eligible for a portion of the $10,000.00 prize if the school meets the minimum requirement of 2,000 points. The allocation of the actual amount of the prize money is at sole discretion of Alameda Towne Centre.
- Alameda Towne Centre will announce winners and award cash prizes after the promotions conclusion event. Schools must be represented at the final ceremony to receive their award.
- Registration by schools for this promotion is consent for holding, using, and disclosing school name and address for marketing and promotional purposes and consent to the taking of photographs by Alameda Towne Centre which the schools agree can be used by Alameda Towne Centre for publicity purposes and marketing activity.
- Alameda Towne Centre and Harsch Investment Properties will not be held liable for any damage or loss (including but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) arising from personal injury or death or loss of, or damage to property which is suffered or sustained in connection with any prize, except to the extent that liability cannot be excluded by law.
